That happens to me all the time. It's one of the many reasons I'm grateful for this here DOOM forum you are hosting, because it stores so many movie memories.
What happened? Saoirse kicked ass. Cate read me the obituaries.

As I suspected, the Amazon TV show sorely lacks Saoirse & Cate. It was long-winded, taking the whole ep to cover the first few mins of the film. Some nice wilderness scene tho. I may watch more. Stacy did tn reject it outright, so that’s something. She never saw the movie.

Greg only hates on the movie because of my relationship with Saoirse and Yeti's with Cate.

Did you hit your head?
I think I hated it because it was bad.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

Bro, I'm a professional martial artist. I've hit my head so many times. So many times. You know this.
This movie got my a face-to-face with Saoirse. For that reason alone, I will always enjoy it. Those Irish eyes of hers...I'm tellin ya, nothing like them.

It was a fine “Euro-Thriller”. It had Cate, the cinematography was particularly good, and the Downton Abbey chick died quickly. Really, what more do you want?

I just caught this again on SYFY and was struck by how enjoyable it was. The action is tight, the Euro surreal vibe is cool, Saoirse is captivating even with the blonde eyebrows and Cate is great even with the affected American accent. I don't know what Greg is talking about. Maybe he was upset because no one was wearing supersuits and capes and hunting Infinity stones. Sure, there's some ridiculous logic leaps. There are more ridiculous logic leaps in American politics now.
I'm tepid on the Amazon Prime show. They should go back and to a proper film sequel with Saoirse. The film is so set up for that. And add a swordfight.

Just binged the TV series after getting a good recommendation from a friend with taste, obviously *not* G-Man. I enjoyed it, of course, because Euro-Thriller, all kind of fights (gun and fists and stuff). The cinematography was very good. Nice blend of the movie for season I and season II sets up a season III nicely. Good actors all the way around.
I did employ the magic “fast forward” button when the girl-talk got a bit much, but I used it sparingly. I hope Covid doesn’t kill this like it did Queen Sono

It gets better? I got a few eps deep when this first launched but was missing Cate and Saoirse so much that I couldn't hang with it.

Enough distance between me and the film that I enjoyed it.

I watched both seasons and liked it. If that is season 3, I'll watch it.
