I've been meaning to watch this. I'll get around to it someday. I've actually seen most of the F&F franchise. I started when with F&F6 because Gina was in it and Ronda was in F&F7, so well within the KFM review zone. Then I went back for some of the earlier ones for background and to check out the early Justin Lin one. They offered the screener for this to us, but I couldn't make it.
F&Fs all absurd, but they have that formula, akin to the MCU except no one wear tights. It's sexier, more macho and a helluva look dumber, but the action is spectacular and it's funny.
Even without seeing this, I can pretty much agree with Greg's review. It's that formulaic. Someday I'll watch this for real and confirm.
