Took me 3 hours to clear hwy17. It was completely shut down at Redwood Estates. That's the 2nd wicked curve on the north side. I'm wondering if it was a fatality. I got to summit and we were all sent back. They just detoured us to turn around bu I went the other way, Skyline to Bear Creek, and got through.

3 effin hours.

I'm so grateful that this happened today and not yesterday...

Ouch. I was wondering. Any mention of lethalities?

No fatalities. Is lethalities even a word? My writing brain is jamming my postability.

I think examples of lethalities would be an angry chimp, a magnitude 10 earthquake, and an invisible car.

The pic on the local news showed that CHP vehicle pinned between the vehicle he was helping and the one that hit him.

I’m still on HWY17 newsfeeds in twitter & Facebook and there was a new accident reported almost every hour it seemed like yesterday. There’s also been a lot of talk about new potholes. I came NB a few hours ago and dodged them. There are several between Lexington & the cats, one is huge, a rim buster. After most of the potholes would be a pulled over car with someone inspecting the damage. Be super careful there.

I saw that crash on the news. I missed part of the witness interview, but it sounded like they tried to make the exit but were going too fast and went over. It was two adults and two children in the car.
