So there’s a live action version of this on Netflix now. I just watched the first 3 eps. It’s not as good. The eps are only like 6 min long and there’s only like 5 of them but I bailed. It’s just an actor playing that character giving household maintenance advice - how to sharpen a knife (that’s the first one and it’s helpful if you’ve never used a whetstone), how to do laundry, how to use a candle to lube a sliding door. It’s decent advice I suppose but that’s it. 

The cat appears. It does nothing but fill scenes. I was so disappointed.

No sword fights or tanto fights. Just chopping cabbage. Not DOOM recommended.
