Oh my god, there is a Spike Lee film I like. It might have a lot to do with the fact that the film was produced by Brian Grazer and Spike was only brought in to direct.
It's a bank caper with overtones. It is full of plot holes and jaw dropping logical fallacies but you just let it role over you. Clive Owen, Denzel, the killer from Serenity all do good jobs. The Jodie Foster scenario was a waste. Maybe she got sick of taking care of the baby and asked to be added to the film?
On the whole, enjoyable. I'm sure it was faithful to it's source material. Because Hollywod never messes with the source material.
