e3 introduces Tora’s sister who runs a competing donut truck, a franchise from Silicon Valley. This was a good bit, condensing a classic yakuza tale into a few minutes. There’s a hamster ep that overplayed the kawai card. There’s popcorn video night when Tatsu, Miku, & Masa debate what vid to watch which was only funny because of the policure part. Then there’s some camping eps. One is a sauna tent which made me wonder if Japan really does have lemon scented water for steam saunas - they surely do - and now I wonder what other flavors they have. Then it’s Tora camping alone and trying to make breakfast after drinking too much glenfiddich 12 and I can so relate.

A golfing bit. Mostly Tatsu teaching Miku how to kowtow to a yakuza leader. Didn’t quite work for me. There was a bit on felting that brought back the boss cat lady which is a character I like. Then there was a Chinese hotpot restaurant where it was free if you can finish a bowl in a certain amount of time. Masa, Miku & Tatsu give it a go. Tatsu does a surprise inspection on Masa’s and complains it stinks so they make kawai fragrant herb wreaths. And a very short neko bit at the end. The hot pot and the neko bits were the best.

E4 The ghost story opening didn't quite work for me. The knife hawker schtick was better. The weeding but didn’t quite work for me either. Not did the bug fight. I wanted more from the final neko fixing scene but now I know that their cat is named Gin. Not one of the better eps. It’s losing speed.

Damn. I miscounted and labeled two eps as ep 3 so ep 4 was actually ep 5 and that was all that was in s2. So I’m done until they drop some more of s2. Bummer man.

My Tatsu cosplay KILLED IT yesterday. I got so much luv from the fandom - countless comments and nearly a dozen fans asked for photos. FTW!
