Greg, I saw a commercial where guys were driving in nails with their palms. If you can develop that skill, it will be way more useful for you than the big finger. And DMT can put you in a video.

Greg and I were channel flipping and caught something where some idiots were trying to nail something, and hit the nail with the hammer repeatedly, like more than a dozen times. After screaming at the screen, he taught me that you should never have to hit a nail more than three times -- once to set it, once to get it halfway in, once to complete the job.

I never knew this. I feel like such a GIRL.

The guys doing the palm hammering were going down a whole line of nails that were already set, so maybe you still need a hammer for that. So it might not be that useful after all. Or maybe you'd need an assistant for that.

On the other hand, they did only use one blow.

I'm still trying to sneak the camera by the Guards at the gate. why do they do it? Why?

Two weeks from yesterday will be the first day of shooting. It's too bad we don't have a set done yet.

But the Big whigs are going on a location scout this weekend to Vegas. At least that's what they're calling it. Have I told you about the time Veerhoven spent two weeks and tens of thousands of dollars in Vegas scouting locations for Showgirls. Well, they had to get the right feel for the movie, didn't they?

One of the painters walks by. He's arguing with another painter over something. Painters, who can understand them? Anyway the older painter says "I've shitted in better smelling rice patties"

Ah, the delicacy of the film environment.

As of August 26, I am no longer on Ocean's 13. Maybe a nice trench would bring us all up to date.

I put a little slide show together of some of my pics in honor of Ocean's 13 opening next week. The pictures are of the Casino which was fabulously huge and my set which is Al Pacino's office. Who spread those rumours Deniro was going to be in the flick? If you want to load the pictures a little faster reduce the number of boxes that load at a time. As long as there is an arrow to the right, there are more pictures. Usual passwords apply. Yeti's middlename is the username. Password is the DM's street name.

Ocean's 13

HBO's movie of the month is Ocean's 13. Because of the heat, I couldn't move to reach the remote control and turn off HBO when the movie came on. Verdict: The movie still sucks. At least Last Action Hero got a little better as time wore on.

It's also still hot.
