RIP William Friedkin 8/7/23 - Greg - 08-07-2023 Wow. He made two great films and then kind of bought into his own myth, I think. Loved seeing the French Connection car chase that first time in the theater. And no way did I think he was 87. RE: RIP William Friedkin 8/7/23 - Drunk Monk - 08-07-2023 To Live and Die in L.A. wasn't bad. But yeah, Exorcist and French Connection were great. He was one better than M. Night Shamalamadingdong. RE: RIP William Friedkin 8/7/23 - Greg - 08-07-2023 Sorcerer and Cruising are in there too. It's funny looking at his IMDB page. He made a film almost every other year but those are the two. RE: RIP William Friedkin 8/7/23 - Greg - 08-11-2023 I just listened to a podcast interview of him. And I am not a fan of that man. Could be so many of his opinions diverged from mine. Could be because he sounds a lot like the former president. |
