The premiere date for S3 shifted forward but YOU DID NOT HEAR THAT FROM ME. Still under NDA and this is part of that.
Fortunately, I've been working ahead. I have only one remaining feature to deliver for Den. All of the rest are accepted, edited and queued up to drop around the premiere.

Cobra Kai! S3 Ep 1&2 are complete. They are pretty medium level enjoyment affairs. Lots of the same old tropes being kicked around. In every season does Daniel have to try and connect with Johnny only to throw up his hands and cry "This will never work"? And when does Johhny become John? He's in forties, right? They're building the foundation with everyone mad at everyone else.
The fight in the auto shop was the worst.

I recant my earlier statement. I think s3 is stronger than s2 now. It gets muddled because I lose sight of it with the deep dives. It's like when you're dissecting something and you forget it's a body. No wait...that's not what it's like. I have no idea what that's like.
I know several Johnny's that are over 40. I'm still wondering when you'll become Gregory.

S3 Ep4 More fighting. More johnny stumbling his way towards being a good guy. I love his interactions with the internet. More Danny trying to not be a wimp, but this time in Japan. One of his better fights. More Dee Snider!
They must have about a dollar for the sets and it shows. The concert setting was a prime example.

Den of Geek made another vid from one of my features. In one day, it got 2.6K views besting the Wonder Woman 1984 vid they posted two weeks ago. Unfortunately, I don't get paid for these vids, but all I do is double check them for errors, which takes one view, and it bumps up my status in the Den.
I originally pitched 6 features. Den asked for a 7th, which was posted yesterday. Now they've asked for one more, and I'm contemplating whether I have the bandwidth. Possibly. Not sure if there's really a story there yet.

I accepted the task of feature #8 so I went through a few eps to cherry pick some scenes again and am constantly struck by the level of Easter eggs. Little things like Tory wearing a skeleton hoody. How did I miss that the first time around? And the second? How many times around now? I just don't know anymore. Man, for 8 articles, way too many.
I'm deep in the Cobra pit.

S3 Ep8 Boning! I did like the opening with all the different schools juxtaposed against each other. I'm glad the rehab of Kreese has disappeared. We don't need to rehab all the villains do we?
