Very nice promotional image.

I was thinking it was a mistake to have the sword tip go out of frame at the top.  Normally it would be, just as you shouldn't cut someone's arm or leg off at a joint, but more at the midpoint.  But after some reflection it seemed to work, creating another rectangle in a composition of tiles -- or at least verticals and horizontal lines -- throughout.

Anyone else have an aesthetic take on this?

I know what Danny's answer is:  "I'm not taking questions!"

cf wasn't sure.

Actually, that's wrong.  It's Oct 4.  I probably had too much pasta or something.

So I'm ttt-ing this.

Because cf needs to know.

Again.

The countdown has begun!  I've already seen a rough cut of the premiere ep.  The only VOD I can find is VRV off the El Rey site, so I'll register for the free month and pay for the remainder I suppose.  Note that I'm in the first ep, and then I don't appear again for a month's worth of shows, then my other 3 eps will be telecast around Thanksgiving.

RE: Man at Arms: Art of War - Drunk Monk - 09-30-2018

I signed up for VRV.  $9.95 & first month is free.  It's a lot of anime and a weird selection of a lot of films I've never heard of - those that I have, well, it's a really odd collection, kinda artsy and edgy. The nav is a bit clunky.  Still sorting it.

I'll let y'all know how it goes and won't be hurt (too much) if you hold off until Thanksgiving.

RE: Man at Arms: Art of War - Drunk Monk - 09-30-2018

I think my social media might go on hold with personal posts, deferring to El Rey's countdown.

Okay. I think we know. And since you and I are the only ones that have it on their TVs, I think your job here is done.
