I started working through DM's list of Korean action movies. First up: The Admiral.
Holy shit, that is some historical incident. Great sequences, acting was stoic, heroic, eeeeevil in turns.
Entertaining as all get out.

I’m confident you’ll enjoy The Swordsman. I keep thinking I should watch it again. I started it again but got distracted. I confess tho - Joe Taslim is one of my fav action stars rn.

The Swordsman was a very good movie. Well acted, politics not too convoluted, and the fight-chor was top, top quality. Joe Taz is so charismatic as a bad guy that you can ignore his wig. Recommended!
