This caused something of a sensation at Cannes and ended up winning the Palm de Or. I've been wanting to watch it ever since seeing the trailer.
It might be one of those movies that is better the less you know about it. It's hard to predict where it's headed from the get-go and it goes in a lot of strange and sometimes implausible directions. I found it sexy and horrific and just plain bizarre. I'll leave it at that.
