I just bit the bullet and agreed to review the screener. I should get it tonight.

When I mentioned it to a KF classmate, he joked about 'Is Liam saving his granddaughter now?' which in fact, he is. Richard Norton did the choreo. That one writes itself for KFM. Still debating whether or not I want to do it.

Not really. Pretty mediocre and hackneyed. Some okay firefights and car chases but there’s a whole lotta dumb here. It’s one of those actioners that has a ridiculous amount of collateral damage like explosions, smashed cars, and random chaos but there’s no accountability. Felt like a throwback to 90s thrillers but more in a redundant way that a nostalgic one.

Liam is Liam. The granddaughter is cloyingly cute. The villains are tired tropes of the powerful corrupt. The reporters are stereotypically skeptical except for the one intrepid one, who has issues.

I dozed off during the finale action sequence and had to rewind to catch it. Turns out I didn’t miss much. Even in my half asleep state I followed the major beats.

Not D00M recommended unless you’re huge into Liam and have nothing better to watch. Definitely not worth the theater experience - if you just, wait for it to stream free on something you’re already subscribed to - shouldn’t be too long for it to get there.
