RIP Diane Lai
#1
I've been putting this one off. Diane was my cousin, an in-law who married one of my SF cousins. He worked for Kodak for years, then retired and took a job with Disneyland as an undercover. He used to get us these amazing discount passes to the park and hotel. When I was growing up, I knew that family fairly well. My cousin was very into fishing and me and my dad went on several fishing trips together with him.

I heard about Diane's last week from my mom and another cousin, who visited Leonard (her widower) because he had heard and was in town visiting some of his kids. He sent pix of Len, and his daughter who is now married with two kids (I only remember meeting one of her kids in a stroller at D-land very fleetingly before we all took off into the park). I'm maybe a half decade older than her. Len is younger than my parents by a decade or so.

Diane had bad dementia. Her last few months were really hard, so I'm told.

I just sent a condolence card. Another thing I've been putting off.
