This was recommended to me as the ultimate X flick (that's X as in MDMA, not X as in porn). I would say that it isn't but then again, I can't think of another that bests it. Offhand, I can't even think of any other X flicks, so it wins by default. It captures the UK club scene, or at least what I imagine that might have been having never yet been to the UK. Quite predictable plot. The trips weren't very trippy, so that was a major disappointment. The dialog banter was quite druggy, but not witty druggy or funny druggy, more like stupid druggy, and I can hear that in the bummer tent at Rock Med any old day. The music was ok if you like that sort of stuff. I was surprised how little of it there was. All in all, unremarkable.
