Christina was thinking about Nick's Crispy Tacos and, looking online, discovered it closed some time ago. It has been a while since we went to Polk. But still, that's sad. Their food was good. At least (it seems that) Smoke Signals is still there.

Just got an Emergency Alert on my phone that a young mountain lion was seen about a dozen blocks from where I live. I’ve seen coyotes in my tony ‘hood, but nothing like that.

We get mountain lions every couple of years. I live near a greenway called Arana Gulch (or as we like to say Ariana grande). They come down off the mountains through there. I wonder what corridor brings them to your hood.
I would love to see a big wild cat… from a distance. I’ve seen bobcat here and heard jaguars when trekking tht Himalayas, but I’ve yet to see a mountain lion. There was one photographed at an apartment complex across the street from star of the sea park where Yuki & I go a lot just a few years ago. Woah. Just saw the footage on fb. Big cat.
