Nose to the grindstone 2025

All the yard work. It took me sixteen batteries to cut back the grass in the bowl in front of the house it was pretty thick. Today, I cleared out a couple of loads branches I trimmed from the oak trees that were getting too close to the ground. I also cleared out some of the grape vines in preparation for their winter slumber.

Work day - proofreading the RETURN OF KUNG FU TAI CHI. Never thought I'd be doing this again.

Also laundry. And I'll try to rally Yuki's pack at star. We haven't been going so much since they removed our bench (the legs were rusting out) and Murray bridge (where Ben died) is closed until 2028 making it a much bigger trip for those on the other side.

Resisting the temptation to go to a Dia de los Muertos gathering at the Quarry or Grateful Sunday at the Crepe place tonight.

Sleep late, brunch with H & Friend of H, long walk home, read a bit, then board meeting for First Person Story (H’s non-profit for her storytelling workshop/performances)

Monday morning blues - still got some post-show glow from the weekend but dreading my /-hour with the bossmang. But then I have lunch with my ol’ MQ6 award-winning photographer friend. We were going to go to Sutra on my press passes but that was cancelled.

Been up since 3. Stoopik time change. I was gonna post on the 4:20 thread but I got distracted D00Mscrollin. 

Got 2 telemeets but realized I forgot to prep for the first one at 8 so I should get up and do that soon. 
Then over to check on mom. Gotta sort a drug refill & prep her for an in-person doctor appt in two weeks.

Then maybe Baahubali on the big screen. 

Then I gotta write tonight. Two pieces due soon.

Got an appt with Peggy O on the way home. Time to neaten mi locks. I confess, I nejoy the topknot look for iaido, but I only do that for 2 hours a week (but for those two hours, with my receding hairline, I so look the role - too busy looking good). But I'm looking forward to catching up with Jennifer. 

Then home dodging the rain on 17. It's the king tides right now (supermoon tomorrow - biggest one for 2025 - the beaver moon) - tied will be at it's lowest right when it's time for dog walking so maybe it'll let up just before sunset for some dog beach action. If not, there's tomorrow too.

1st of 3 telemeets done for today. Bossmang said we'd only go 15 mins of the hour, but it went twice that plus because he likes to talk... a lot. 

Now on the phone with Sutter Health, dealing with my mom's medication. They keep asking for specifics on dosage (which you'd think they'd have records of) but then leaving no way to reply. The messages in the system have no way to reply. And the phone cannot identify her doctor. Ridiculous. The US medical system sux.

I have a quick (hopefully) lunch meeting with the new KFM manager. Then work.

Yoga done. A rigorous class. Got a day of work & writing, then up to SF for the booby prize, a doc on Larbi (choreographer of the cancelled Sutra) as part of the SF Dance Film Festival. It's up in the Mission somewhere.

Kind of loafing at work. Getting a few things ready for the show at Art Ark tonight. Probably leave a few minutes early so I can eat dinner and relax for a few before I head over.
