Lots of crowd syndrome

The crush is tight

Still waiting for Lorde

Lorde still has her sound. Her voice has deepened.

Lorde still has her sound. Her voice has deepened.

Don’t know why that posted twice

Every time we see her she seems more mature which is odd considering how precocious she was as a teen.

Can’t quite figure out her band - keys, a guitarist, two back up singers, maybe a drum kit.

She has a huge teeter totter stage prop that she’s climbing up on. Donning a bright sport jacket, a silver bra and a bare midriff, she’s embracing her pop stardom

The crowd is going wild - screaming on cue and in tune … on a Tuesday night sold out show…

She pulled off some quick costume change, lost the jacket and pulled up her skirt for a sort of evening gown. Now she has 4 guitarists, 2 keys & drums. The stage prop is quite versatile, changing perspectives and the lighting is dramatically colorful, showcasing her synesthesiac charm.

The halls are empty. Always a sign of an enraptured audience (except with the Dead).

There was a rush of crowd syndrome syncopals but that subsided and now everyone has found their groove.

Sweet show. Still love her stage presence.

One more costume change - a slinky black bikini with a lacey cover.

She saved the big bass for the end.

Well that was fun. A delightful night with my beloved daughter. I had a good moment of escape.

Hope I dodged that Covid bullet once more.

The Japanese Hoise -

Typical alt rock 5 piece
Greek is as packed as I’ve seen but the new walkways are open

The lead gave a shout out to trans rights and the applause was deafening. Def a lgbtq friendly crowd

Lorde was sitting right behind us on the other side of the curtain. She’s going to do the walk through on our side.

2nd song was Royals. Everyone sang along. Even staff was dancing wildly.

BTW - KB her shirts are $60-50 - single color for two, one multicolor. She’s got a $45 lid that Tara considered but it had the word saliva on the side and that was a dealbreaker.

The audience is singing along in tune. Reminds me of a Taylor Swift show, a unique sound enhancement. Everyone is singing and dancing wildly. Although I think I’m a better dancer than her two dancers. I should be on stage dancing with her.

As I pulled into the Cruz, Royals came on Bob (the radio station, not the king - no kings, man). Twas a fine finish to a long drive.

Lorde just keeps getting better and better at what she does. Such a satisfying show. And I’m delighted to learn she wears Calvin Klein underwear, just like me.

NOTE to self: Rock Med has poor taste in cheese. I brought 4 cheeses to the potluck: Kaasaggio, Kerrygold Kilaree, organic cheddar, & a Babybel assortment. The two latter cheaper cheese were inhaled. The 2 K cheeses were barely touched. Happy to enjoy those on my own and in future, it'll only be Babybel...
