RIP Robert Redford 9/16/25

The Queen's friend from Facebook has passed. They were in a secret Fur babies group together although he didn't participate much.

Besides that he was in so many movies I loved, especially Sneakers. He always did a great job, adding gravity to the Marvel Universe even.

My favorite is probably The Sting. Christina would probably say The Way We Were or Barefoot in the Park.

You know, I've never seen All the President's Men, or seen Butch Cassidy all the way through.

Since we’re including our SOs, Stacy is a big fan and would likely cite Out of Africa. The Sting & Waldo Pepper stick out in my memory.

Sting, Butch Cassidy, Barefoot for me
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

I'm confused by this date because

1 - i didnt know he was still alive
2 - 11/16/2025 is in the future at the time of this writing. Are you planning something?

It’s how Capt. Pike knows about Romulans.

But it’s redacted by starfleet.

I'm sure I have no idea what you are talking about. The date looks legit to me.

Bob Redford was legit the friend of a friend of mine. Donna Leigh Scott is a court reporter (she was also a singer and actress but guess what paid the bills?) who was married to a friend of Bob’s (Tim Scott, the guy who played News Corey in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Leroy in The Electric Horseman. When Tim passed away from lung cancer at the age of 57, Bob was a good, supportive friend to Donna. Anyway, when Bob was grieving the loss of his son, Donna brought him over to the private “Court Reporters and their Fur Babies” community on Facebook. It didn’t last long because too many of the court reporters there were assholes, but a few of us remained Facebook “friends” with Bob. It was a kick when he “liked” some of my photos and commented on a couple posts. He will be missed.
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
