The Pitt
#1
A medical procedural from the man behind ER starring Noah Wylie, one of the stars of ER. The show purports to be in real time. The first hour of the show is the first hour of the shift in the Emergency Ward at the Pittsburgh Hospital. Only about a million things happen in the first hour from bad bowel movements to horrifically broken legs to new interns fainting on the job. It is a bit off putting watching people show up at ER waiting room having just done that. The Pitt's is more crowded

I'll watch more. Two episodes are up now and the show will be released weekly. The Queen was put off by some of the gruesomeness and will not be watching any more episodes.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

This series has been very compelling with lots of gory operations thrown in for seasoning. I thought the season would tap out at twelve episodes when the shift ended, but no. All hell breaks out and it was a frantic episode. And it is still not over.

Good medical drama with lots of tangled personal stories
