The Whale (2022) by Darren Aronofsky
#1
I feared this would be an exercise in pathos and would be stagebound.  Neither really occurred for me, though your mileage may vary.  IMO, an excellent role for Brendan Fraser and a great project for Darren.  Though focusing on Brendan, it was more complex than I thought and had a great ensemble cast.

Brendan Fraser has a great voice.  But he should probably lose some weight.

An Aronofsky movie that did not want to make you commit suicide? Unbelievable!
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
