This is the Jim Carrey CGI version, which I stumbled on purely by accident. Confession - I luv A Christmas Carol. It's a brilliant short story and I watch pretty much every version I can, but I missed this one. It's very loyal to the source material, with only some diversions to fill it out to movie length. The multiple faces of xmas past was the most loyal I've seen. And my fav, usually overlooked passage, want & ignorance, was played out quite well. I wish I had seen this in the theaters in 3D. It was very satisfying, surprisingly dark and true to the book for Disney. Oldman, Hoskins, Firth and Elwes were all solid, but this is really all about Carrey, who can be such an overactor, but it worked well here. The CGI masks covered a multitude of sins. HP factor one - Sirius.
