Taxi Driver (1976) by Martin Scorsese
#1
I saw this back in the day at a theater.  I thought it was in Sunnyvale, but I didn't move out here until '81.  If I saw it in '76, that had to be Indiana.

Everything about this movie is a blur, not just the time and place I saw it.  It was way more than I could digest back then, and I've been wanting to see it again, in a theater.  Finally the opportunity has arrived.

Lady Cranefly and I will likely be seeing it this Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Century Cinemas 16 up Shoreline.  It shows at 2 pm and 7 pm.  We'll likely try for the early show.  It also shows at the Cupertino Square 16 at 2 pm and 7 pm, and maybe elsewhere.

Anyone else interested?  We might be open to shifting to another theater or time for a social outing.

I gotta work. Then I wanna watch the debate. So I'm short on time. When that cigarette burns out, my time is up.

Well, Lady Cranefly had to work, so I went alone.

Just as well; I would probably have embarrassed her.

I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

My favorite line: "Go ahead; make my day."

No, wait.  That was another movie...
