Been busy. Sunny. Lots of peeps passing out. Been killing it with donations. Anything green appreciated. Very green. Jah med

Jah med Louis bribes dm with another shirt and samples. Dm has an extra pass because mrs dm ain't innerested. Tara & friend in tow, just back from dc, hoping they don't get sick. Lots of old friends in every corner. It's quite a shift from upset tournament parents to stoners at a reggae - a genuine smile feels refreshing and rejuvenating.

OManic gal from production usurps slightly stooped set (who sounded much better than dm expected). And another roll. The girls decided to lay out for the set and try to stay awake to reset their time clocks. My staff lam meals vanish - they were using snap codes and I was deactivated.

Pipe broke right next to my car. Major flood in the hospital. Want to load out but too much congestion.

My prophesy was fulfilled. I have often said when Cali roots is sunny, we would be busy. Plus we had a short staff because Bottlerock was the same weekend. This show got wild and weird, like a reggae should. It has outgrown its venue and should consider relocating to Laguna seca next year. People camp out there already and shuttle in. Given an incident where the bass vibrated and old speaker off the roof and dropped on someone's head, that might bring a dealbreaker of a lawsuit.

Now my crazy run ends and I try to

I don't know how you do it. If we took a core sample of you, all we would find is layers of sinew, stress, sensimilla, and sleeplessness
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

Multiple points to the Doctor for alliteration.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

I don't know how I do it either.  I'm inclined to say it's my Kung Fu, but that's a stupid Kung Fu.

It's all about the riddem. If I can stay on the beat, I'm okay. My car break-in put me out of step at the start of the run, but I had such momentum that I saw it through, plus a little help from my friends like CF driving to the Giants game helped immeasurably.

I'm sure it'll catch up with me someday.

Speaking of break-ins and Victory fires, Legbone has a tale of woe that will trump all of ours. I'm encouraging him to post on the 'I'm more broken than you' thread.

Boots on the ground. It's chilly but sunny.

Small crew - lean and mean. Up against two bottles - Lightning in a Bottlerock.

It's been chill today. Overcast with a big wind chill factor. Staff meals have been great - copious, tasty and even healthy. We're in that stony zone when everyone is moving in slow motion, Rasta zombies (an idea for a movie that I've been kicking around for years - maybe I can get Danny Trejo for it). Waiting for Tara and her friend Caroline to arrive. They are supposed to leave the Cruz at 4 but it took until this morning for them to figure that out.

I'm hanging out at concourse table, crowd watching with Spike, a professional pyro for like a decade. She is regaling me with tales of her industry.

I tried to sleep in but I'm hard wired to wake around 6. The ambulance drive by didn't help. Got to the peace and quiet of the pottypotty just minutes before they cleaned it - shoulda waited.

Yesterday's trial was getting Tara and Caroline in. That went really smoothly. They are having a grand time, yet realizing that graduation is so close. They noted that jiggling locked doors on campus was something they will never do again because the following weeks are all about Ramayana production in San Jose. Then they graduate. I hustled them borrowed staff passes so they can eat today. If we get 7 more vols, RM will need them back.

Yesterday was cold and relatively mellow until the nekkid tripper. In this weather?! By the time we got there, he had his pants on in a weird fairgrounds display pen and was surrounded by cops. We talked to him and I thought I had a latch when I asked what he remembered from before passing out - a glimmer of realization and then he bolted into the cops. Once they laid hands on him, he was gonna get  cuffed. That is 'use of force' so the cops take him regardless.

Now I'm charging my phone, waiting for camp to wake up - mostly T&C so I can take them to breaky. Keepin mi tresses unbound Anna bass be weavin dem inna dreads.
