When we destroyed the Planet of the Apes sets, I shot a bunch of footage but I don't think I ever showed it to anyone. Here it is in a slightly different form.

how many guys and how long did it take to strike that set?

If I remember correctly it was about six weeks. And we actually did store big chunks of the set, which was a nightmare.

The more important statistic is, again remembering from 12 years ago, we filled 140 40-yard dumpsters. They were bringing them to us 5 at a time.
