Good night, Harry Harrison

Soylent Green is a concept just now coming into its own. Soylent Green: It's not just people, it's also a good idea.

I would also like to say that I picked up copy of "Planet of the Damned" for $0.50 and was rewarded with a fencing scene in the opening paragraph.

I never read his "Stainless Steel Rat" series, but often felt that I should have. I'll likely look them up now.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

The Stainless Steel Rat series was fun. I kept thinking there should be more or I was reading them out of order.

I was at the beach with Ken in the early 1980's when I read Soylent Green. I read the book in one sitting. I have never been more depressed after reading a book than I was after that one. I really needed some happy happy joy joy because it was so bleak.
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit
