Monterey Jazz Festival
#76
Another good day but I was distracted by the upcoming gear shift. The only band I tuned into was a mariachi band.

Ran a few calls. One drunk dude fell off the bench and wouldn’t wake up, but we got him up and walked him the porta potty. Nevertheless he peed on himself and told us he was diabetic. He took him back for a blood stick but he wimped out from the lancet and was a x o 4 so we let him walk, he wanted to find his raiders hat which he managed to do so we figured he was good never mind the wet pants. Another guy passed out and when he woke, he couldn’t see. We rolled him (possible stroke).

I’ll tune in more tomorrow. I realize now my thoughts have been on Laurie’s show all the way through.

Last day for 2026
Waiting for my coed slug to pick me up. Carpooling is the way, especially with coed slug premed seniors.

Ah there she is!

Home in bed but I don’t wanna sleep. I wanna cling to that jazz fest vibe for a little longer.

That was quite a weekend.

Herbie Hancock & Dan Carter for Miles was deep jazz. Just two maestros taking us out of this world with a grand & a standing bass. Truly magnificent.

The massive Jazz Cat charcuterie was unexpected and a major level up.
