Here I thought you were a Crocs kinda (that) guy...

The first time I saw Crocs was Dead tour. Actually those weren't real Crocs. They were a similar product, a plastic clog. The vendor was giving them out backstage. I got a pair - free schwag is free schwag - but didn't get into them. They vanished from the market but then nearly a decade later, Crocs emerged. Typical deadhead - ahead of its time, too far ahead to cash out.

First meeting done. Tree trimmers are here at the behest of our landlord. We have this spectacular bougainvillea that is leaning about about to cut off the power lines for the two other granny units on our lot. When they came out, they weren't going to do the boug. They were going to do everything else. Typical mere. So today I'm working to the sound of chainsaws. I'lll head over to svale tonight but won't be visiting my mom until tomorrow. Final kitchen inspection today.

Visiting cf now - got asked to step out while they attend to him.

Then I take my mom to a cardiogram

Then home to pack for tomorrow & tie up a few more loose work ends

Ok I gotta stop scrolling about sdcc stuff that went down today that I missed. It was a packed Thursday. I need to get some sleep, grab a quick breaky and get to the venue. The Blade Runner panel is first thing at Hall H (there were already people lining up when I passed by a few hours ago). I just learned Michelle Yeoh will be in the new series playing a replicant hunting replicant.

But then I’ve got nothing until Enhypen at 6.

I really need to crash but I’m so freakin wired from Friday.
Today I might try for hall h Star Trek - depends how I’m feeling tomorrow which might not be good enuf to try. Need to hook up with an immortal comrade who is slinging a kung fu comic. Need to finish the exhibitor floor and pick up some gifts. I got to the 2000 Friday - I forgot how high they go… I need to eat well and stay hydrated

I hope to get up in time to shower (please be hot), pack, check out and hop the shuttle for Tea with Toph, an offsite event with an atla voice actress. Then over to the exhibit hall to pick of something for Tara and something for Bri, then maybe the Sailor Moon panel, then back to the airport and then home to the bungalow.

Visit cf first thing, then get back for some ymaa biz, then pick up my mom and take her to Hendon to see all our renovations. After dropping her off at the care center, I have a few odd tasks at Hendon. Then home to a ton of writing work (didn't get anything done tonight). Looking forward to Yuki walkies. Missed that while away.

Drive to Burbank to screen Iron Crotch at SimpleDCP to see how it looks projected. I am justifiably terrified. Spend the night in Frazier Park on the Grapevine and return home tomorrow.
