Jelly
Is that slang passé?
Just finished yoga and am enjoying an everything bagel & coffee at the Bagelry. Today is a catch up day - some YMAA tasks, laundry, bills. Prep for next week which is massive. Nap likely.

Spend a lot of time on the phone making an eye appointment with Big Kaiser in Fresno. Order lumber. Continue sprinkler installation.

I've never liked you.
I was going to see Mando on Friday. I decided to have ophthalmology exam instead.

Slow day. It's finals but there are pretty much none in our building today. I'll cut out a little early. Busier tomorrow but that's my last day at work this week. I always take the commencement days off because getting in and out of the parking garage is a bitch and I have a lot of vacation days.

No one does. But they comply because of my overall awesomeness. Brace up buttercup, because we are entering a period of massive DM bragging. Modesty be damned.

I must take my mom to the lab for a blood draw first thing. She can't eat beforehand so we're going early. Then home for work. Gotta find a graduation lei. And should start packing for Cali Roots...

I was hoping that Aoife had gotten over her love for tasty, tasty irrigation plastic. It has been two years since she ripped out all the drip irrigation in the garden. She's matured!
She has not. I went out this morning to find she had chewed through one of the main lines.

When I lived in the Santa Cruz mountains, we had a problem with rodents eating the tasty plastic inside Shannon's BMW engine compartment. After an expensive repair, I tried someone's suggestion of putting dollar store, extremely smelly drier sheets inside the engine compartment. We never had any problems with rodents after that.
I also had a problem with bats roosting in the rafters right above the front door. No problem with bats themselves, just the poop that would pile up on the doorstep. Someone suggested hanging mothballs there which I did and the bats stopped roosting there.
Maybe Aoife is smelly drier sheet or mothball averse?

With the Mando screener and my mom’s lab appointment, all hesterday i was thinking it was today, so I was hustling to get some work done. Now it’s done and today I can build on that and get ahead. Yay.
Consequently today is working ahead plus packing for the weekend, plus a TJ run and maybe the bank to deposit my mom’s $4 tax refund.

Triple telemeet Thurs
Then to load in at Monterey
Maybe iaido tonight if I get back from Monterey in time. Prolly not tho. With my yoga teacher away, the academy closed and my Memorial Day weekend schedule; my practice has gone to the dogs. Well, to one dog.

Finish new planter boxes. Stain planter boxes. Spread mulch. Build template to cut mortises for railing on the deck to install more railing. Receive a ton of stone for walkway. Not a figurative ton, a literal ton.
