Aren't two of the three people involved in this exchange married? And isn't the other one in a committed long term relationship?
Let's be real, would Peggy-O want either of you?

But given the situation, I certainly feel better that PPFY prefers P-O to DM for arm candy for, oh, so many reasons.
I can only remember going to the movies with P-O once. It was a double bill - Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! & Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. Russ Meyer spoke at a bar after the film. This was totally P-O's idea, mind you. She was really into FPKK.

Face it, DM, you are the official Doom Beard.
I saw movies with P-O. I just can't remember what. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Faster Pussycat Kill Kill with Russ Meyer in attendance.

...you haven't seen Faster Pussycat.
If you don't manage to find a replacement by the weekend for that ticket, HK, PM me your postal address and I send you a check. Let me know how much it was total (not sure if there was a surcharge or anything).
Or I could pay you in steel. PPFY has a catch of our spear points...

As good as advertised. The Castro was packed chock-a-block with nerds. May I say that Grant Imahara is a dapper little fella and does *not* talk during a movie.

What the...?! A kiddy film? This guy never sleeps, does he? That is how he make so many damn movies. Probably afraid that if he falls asleep, the clown will eat him. Sick bastidge.

Yatterman was one of the biggest budget productions in Japan in 2009. It's like robo-clifford and a mechavillianess with boob bombs.
He also did Great Yokai War, another kiddie film.
Miike is all over the place. He's going to rework one of the GREATEST CLASSICS OF CHANBARA next. Harakiri. Ever seen it? It's a B&W samurai flick from the early '60s and it is amazingly good.

...HK & PPFY see this and all we get is a review of donut shops?
Freaking awesome flick. Miike was spot on with his Bushido fanaticism and can great the nastiest villains ever. That victim amputee will haunt me like so many of Miike's twisted visions. Chanbara is back with a vengeance, more brutal, visceral and draconian than ever.
Note that I saw the DVD which had the deleted scenes, otherwise known as the scenes cut out of the U.S. version, including the deleted rape scene. Most of the deleted scenes were trim for time, and they set it up well on the DVD so it begins with rather boring cutting room floor extras, moves to the rape scene (which goes a completely different direction than I was expecting - after the amputee I was wary of watching this but after watching it, well, it was a totally Miike character development scene that really adds to the film) and then goes to deleted battle scenes, which of course, is the best part. The battles of more of the 13 have greater detail.
This film had just the right amount of sword fights. Very satisfactory. A definite DOOM winner, but isn't Miike always so?

Yes, well, I mean.... you know.... Donuts!
And yes, I have seen Harakiri. Woof. What a film to pick to re-make. If 13 Assassins is any indicator of what he plans to do with Harakiri, all I can say is look out! That's one of my all time favorite non-Kurosawa's, right up there with Sword of Doom.
Oh and by the way.... Donuts!
