Marble Hall Murders is the third and allegedly finale installment Susan Ryland/Atticus Pund murder mysteries.
First was Magpie Murders - https://www.brotherhoodofdoom.com/doomFo...&pid=59984
Second was Mayflower Murders - https://www.brotherhoodofdoom.com/doomFo...&pid=75079
The main device is that there’s the murder that Susan the publisher/editor is uncovering and then there’s a parallel Atticus book that also holds clues. Each main actor plays a dual role in the Susan world and Atticus world which gets confusing and complicated in a fun murder mystery way. I just finished e4. Stacy has seen it all but somehow missed e4 so was really confused at how it ended and is watching it again with me. E4 took a major turn because this book in unfinished and at the end of the ep, the writer dies. Suddenly Atticus is in a white space with his comrade cop and knows that the writer died, which broke a wall of self awareness. I’m totally engrossed in where this goes next.
This season is set in Corfu. Stacy said a scene looked exactly like a place she & Tara went.
It’s a very enjoyable series and I’ll see it through, plus I’ll be sad when it ends.
