Well, the new cbd cookies helped a bit, but our fuckkin hood is ridiculous on the 4th. So many firecrackers. Some like right in our backyard. Like a freakin war zone.
Poor Yuki. He's was doing ok until around 9 when things really started to blow up. Then he started cowering and shaking like he does every year. He jumped in the tub, which he only does when he's terrified. I stopped watching my movie and put one relaxing music for dogs videos off Netflix. I also broke out the havarti. With my cheese knife I can cut paper thin slices and share them. It breaks the shaking. I've been in dog talk down mode all night. He's now at my feet under my desk, his safe space.
The fireworks are dying down. He's trying to sleep.
