E7 was prep for the finale.
E8 was decent closure. It ends on a classic noir note. No cliffhanger, but it's wide open for a second season, which I'd watch.
Satisfying overall. Cage delivers in his unique quirky way, and I really appreciated that Li Jun Li was just another character, not heavily orientalized. The hallucination scene in E6 was stand out, as well as the music (Note to self, check out Kirby who sang the opening credits song).
