Kinda trips me out. I get hbds from all over the world. Maybe a quarter of them i don’t know (martial arts peeps). I do relish in it, just to see who’s paying attention to all the drivel a post, and wHos still alive.
We had a fine day yesterday. After a weak KF session (my main criticism at my black belt exam was that I was overpowering my katana which is a light aluminum blade that the dojo recommends so I busted out the jian that Lam Sifu made for me and focused my workout towards that - but it was too hot and that blade was too heavy) we went to companion where I had a Mexican chocolate bear claw that was delish but very spicy, a goat cheese sammich & a oat milk capp.
We checked out the Cotoni Coast Dairies trails for the first time. Nice. You walk right into the cow fields with the cows - very exciting for Yuki. Then we hit up greyhound beach where tide was super low and Yuki had major zoomies. There was a memorial for a deadhead in the parking lot that would appear on a table at China Cats later - some guy named Brian thst I did not recognize. Then we checked out Cameron’s pub in HMB which we’ve driven past for years. Fun place. Had a large area for dining with your dog. I had an Arnold Palmer because I needed to hydrate (the bear claw gave me some indigestion). We walked the cliffs from that exit, then met Tara & Bri at a Himalayan place called monsoon, which was ok, small portions for the price and slow service. We should’ve ordered spicy instead of medium. They had a lot of kukris on the wall and for sale, plus a nice kukuri.
Then back to the Cruz where Stacy dropped me off at the vets hall.
A fine day. Today is all about recovery.
