Another birthday show. Two JM conspirators appeared (Ben & Marcus) and we were funguys. Also met up with Cassidy & Noah from iaido. So nice to see young deadheads and connect with more deadhead swordspeeps.
There was a guest bass player so it was all about him trading pick with Hartle. First set started slow with Cold Rain, took an odd detour wifh Far from me, but got going eventually. Second set had a nice Help>slipknot>franklins (help is so anthemic for my role in the scene) and a lovely SotM. They came back after 11 wifh a surprise GDtRFB.
Ben got the band to announce my birthday from stage so I was showered with hbd wishes & flowers all night.
We all hit up the red room after which was blaring reggaeton which was jarring but there were these scantily clad latinas making vids & twerking so there was that.
