Actually the funniest part - the only redeemable part - is when she's handed her signature outfit and asks if it actually protected anything and the armor says no but the crowd will love it. She's a gladiatorial slave - called damnoti here - and that nod to her chainmail bikini was the only glimmer of entertainment in the entire hour and a half plus. 

I was earnestly rooting for the villainess.
