Return to Sender by Craig Johnson
Walt Longmire goes undercover on the longest postal delivery route the US located in Wyoming to find the missing postal woman who delivered that route. He is not very good at going undercover because everyone seems to know who he is or suspects instantly that he is not a postal worker. Which is good because Walt finds out pretty quickly what the problem is there in the desert in Wyoming. Much like in the Spenser books, Walk does the Way things. His supporting cast does what they do. And in the end, Walt saves the day with few bumps and bruises for his trouble.
Reading these never ending series is like watching a police procedural on TV only the shows come out once a year. You get the same familiar characters to spend time and then you move on, waiting for the next episode.

As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
