I literally fell asleep whilst posting that above.
Not sure where I was going with that last sentence fragment but I will say that the 4th ep brings the second season nicely in line with the first and sets up a decent cliffhanger. There was a decent reveal that resolves an initial story arc but it keeps enough for the next four eps. I was saddened by one character’s death.
I’m seeing some style parallels with Into the Badlands. I’ve met Gough & Miller, the show runners several times and even impressed them by knowing some of their Journey to the West easter eggs. Greg met them to at a premiere.
All in all, I enjoyed it. It’s in line with the first season. Jenna is kinda overdoing her rbf but many of the subsidiary characters are taking on more (and I do like the new psycho fan).
If you liked season 1, this is more of the same. Consequently D00M recommended.
