I thought about both of those options. Is the chowder just seafood or do they add bacon? 

That's a good question, and I don't know the answer. The menu doesn't say:

Homemade Boston Clam Chowder or soup du jour

They make a good chowder, so maybe so...

They have nachos which ARE vegan:

Nachos
Homemade tortilla chips, white cheddar cheese, jalapeños, tomatoes, scallions and sour cream. (V)
