The SC civic had good sound for reggae back in the late 80s. Something about that wood floor. Marley played there. Stacy almost went to that show. I have a clean CD of it. It was a great show. Now the civic is sound tiled for the symphony and the sound is fantastic. Again, I attribute it to those wood floors. However, I can imagine how it would be poor for Primus’s sound.
I worked Primus at the Greek back in the early 90s I think. I may have worked them at the Warfield too but not for a NYE show. I was always invited to those but always had another party to work instead.
