Life in Lynch Lair at Wildcat Station
Trail Cam stories later.

First an observation about how cows cause grass fires.

At this time of year, the area is heating up. All the grass around the Lair, and for that matter all the grass in the foothills, is brittle brown. One of the frequent sights I see on my daily walks is ranchers moving their cows from the lower elevations to the higher elevations. There are so many pickups towing cattle cars up Road 600. To make the trailers fast to the trucks, there is ball hitch. As a safety precaution, there are also lengths of chains attaching truck to trailer. Some times these chains are too long or maybe the drivers forget to attach these chains. The trucks drag the chains along the asphalt. Sparks are created. The sparks get into the dry brush which leads to numerous brush fires. The Watch App people use in the foothills to track fires has gone off every day. We've had small fires and large, some as big as 500 acres.

All I'm saying is cows cause brush fires.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
