Today got off to a rough start.
On the good side, Tara secured an amazing summer job/internship with Orrick, a major law firm voted No. 16 on Fortune’s 2024 list of the best workplaces in the United States. She will be making more money there than I have ever made. We are so proud.
However, that jammed up a yoga retreat in Hawaii that Stacy was planning. Tara has to come back early from that to start the new job and getting a new flight back proved to be a supreme hassle. As she was telling me this, I got notified about a major error I caused on the YMAA website and had to scramble to get it fixed. It was totally my fault and demanded immediate attention. I managed to fix it but all this morning chaos jammed our chance to go to yoga this morning.
And now hail? srsly?
