I saw Cocteau Twins at the (then) newly built SJSU event center. I saw Bowie's Glass Spider tour on SJSUs football field. I saw the Dixie Dregs for free on the quad (I didn't see U2 when they played that same spot). I saw Chris Isaac in the Student Union. I think I also saw Pixies perform there. For a state university, they had a lot going on back in the day...
