Ep 1... We had to watch the recap to remember what all happened in season 1 so long ago. (spoiler, but it's in the trailer for season 2) it ended with him getting his ass kicked. People dying, or nearly dying. Season 2 opens some anonymous tips and with him trying to suss out what happened. I think Jake is becoming a gaijin kaiju and he and Ken Watanabe will be the dynamic duo.

PS: TIL: Jake Adelstein's name came up in the opening credits as an executive producer. I hadn't realize he was a real person and this story is based on his memoir.
