The rescue doggos in Lahaina had little booties on to protect their paws while traipsing thru the rubble. If you got the fur babies used to those, you could make them put on their booties when they go outside and take them off in the mudroom...You do have a mudroom, don't you? It's a room in your house, specifically for keeping mud...
