The Diplomat (2023)
#1
Felicity becomes the ambassador to England rather than Afghanistan, the job she prepared for, after an explosion in the Persian Gulf of a British aircraft carrier. She doesn't want the job but her husband, a former ambassador himself, urges her to take the job.

So many twisty things happen. Felicity seems to be surrounded by enemies and she constantly confronts the protocols of her new job as she tries to do the right thing. She has problems with everyone including and especially her husband.

The show is written by one of the writers for the West Wing and feels very intelligent. The show looks like they spent a lot of money on it from the sets and locations and the cast.

I'm going to say you should watch this if you are into Brit based political thrillers. Or maybe you need to see what Felicity is up to these days.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
