I was going to succumb to the obvious puns, but truth be told, this is a beautiful film. It's a love story, sort of a Romeo and Romeo. If I was a gay guy, it would be the greatest movie ever. A lot of lingering imagery, some interesting commentary, and some intense performances. Mostly I watched it to see where Ang was, and to see Anne Hathaway, who totally rocked her role. I confess, I had to fast forward over all the guy kissing/cuddling/backdoor action. After working with PPFY on Folsom, I've seen enough of that, thank you very much. If this movie had been about two gay cowgirls, it would have been the best movie ever.
