Happy Moon Festival!
I was invited to a fundraiser event tonight that was tea tasting, moon cake tasting and traditional Chinese music, but it’s in the depths of Chinatown and a $35 buy in then there will probably be awkward fundraising moments that would be out of my budget. Meanwhile I cannot think of anywhere in Mo Bay here where there’s an Asian market where I could pick up some mooncakes.
I don’t really like mooncakes. It’s the ritual. TC had me post a pic of one of the masters gifting the office some beautiful boxes of mooncakes and it made me nostalgic.
