I'm in for next week's backpack trip. OSL gave me the confidence, logging an average of 10 miles a day. I did that without dipping too heavily into my meds, less than my maximum dosage, and didn't even touch my Norco. Sure, it was at sea level without a pack, but I feel I'm good.
We leave this Sunday and return Friday. Most days are 6 to 8 miles. The killer will be Thursday - 10 miles to enter at Yosemite National Park at Donahue Pass (11,056ft). This will make or break me.
