The latest K-TV trend. It centers around an idiot savant - an austistic attorney who has an eidetic memory for everything she reads. She’s also really into whales. 10 hour+ eps and I’m already 3 deep.
It’s charming, almost a rom com, but then drops those emotional depth charges as K-cinema does. The lead Woo Yong Woo (Park Eun-bin) is super cute in her depiction of an autistic, although minimally realistic. Her name is a K-palindrome. She always eats the same kimbap (sushi) and rants on about whales. When she solves a key piece of the episode’s trial puzzle, her hair blows back dramatically and she has a vision of some cetacean breaching.
I found it distractingly entertaining and loved the e2 mcguffin. I’m not committed to this but I’ll surely watch a few more episodes.
